The next time you’re lost and need directions, who is the one voice that is trustworthy? Who is the one voice people will follow in fear of being choked? Darth Vader.

Fans of Star Wars with a TomTom GPS device can now have Lord Vader’s voice command them to their destination.

For those not wanting to be guided by the dark side, the voices of C-3P0, Yoda, and Han Solo will also be available this summer. More information, including samples, can be found at TomTom’s website.

This Movie Looks Scary

I have seen quite a few horror movies that are not scary. “Paranormal Activity” looks scary.

Similar to “The Blair Witch Project,” “Paranormal Activity” is a documentary-style low-budget horror movie. The film has gained a lot of interest thanks to its interesting movie trailer; the trailer is different in that it shows moviegoers watching the film at an early screening, jumping and screaming.

“Paranormal Activity” is currently scheduled to be shown only in select cities. People interested in seeing the film about a haunted house can fill out this form to demand that the movie receive a wider release.

WoodstockAugust 15 will mark the 40th anniversary of Woodstock. I’ve watched several documentaries recently about the three day music festival and have heard quite a few interesting stories about the event.

There is a great story from The NY Daily News about the couple on the cover of the “Woodstock” album; Nick and Bobbi Ercoline attended the concert together in 1969, and they married each other two years later. Yes, they are still married.

Sirius XM satellite radio subscribers can listen to The Woodstock Channel starting August 14th. Sirius channel 16 and XM channel 40 will air music, interviews, and stories until August 16. The Woodstock Channel will play music and performances by the artists in the exact order they appeared at the festival.

The movie “Taking Woodstock” will be in theaters on August 28; this movie is a comedy about the music festival.
